So I have been very busy with no time to post. I drove to Charlotte and picked Ben up from the airport. He had a great time in Turkey! (picture by Mr Hannam) I am so jealous. Then we drove back to B-burg where we finished packing his stuff, moved it to the new place, and cleaned his old place until it looked like new.
Shew! Then we unpacked. I drove back on Monday, slept, then woke up early Tuesday and drove to New Bern with my friend Susan. It rained on us the whole day; I did not find a place to live (the cute cottage turned out to be a very big 1857 house with cracked walls and creaky wooden floors.) I liked it, but it was not for me. Then Susan and I ran across, or drove by, this great rennovated two story bungalow which I love! Now I am waiting for a call from the owners. They wanted to sell initially but are willing to rent for now as the market is not very flush. In any case, I am again searching for housing. Plus, I am trying to get into the "planning" stages for Craven, but I just cannot seem to get excited about the move. I wish now that I could just stay here for another year. Like I said before - I have the "grass is greener" blues.
