So other big names are up in arms about Google's settlement for 125 million in order to continue to scan texts into Google Books for free use. I applaud Google for their initiative and consideration of students first and foremost. Most of my students say they cannot afford textbooks and outside reading. I recently visited our small bookstore at school and was appalled at the cost of texts for ONE class. I cannot select my own texts for the majority of my classes (another post entirely), and the freshman composition text (not a very good one to begin with) costs $90! How crazy is that! So stay strong Google! I am behind you 100%!

Woot! to Google
