I have many classes this semester; those I am teaching and those I am taking. It is difficult as an educator to decide when it is okay to have a life. I am buried under stacks of essays, and yet, I had to take some time out and figure out my priorities. I decided that NOT disappointing a 7 year old was prioritiy number one, so I spent a good part of the last week, including my birthday weekend, traveling with Flat Stanley.
Some how in our tour of Virginia and the North Carolina coastline, Flat was kidnapped by pirates, or so the story goes. Sometimes my imagination needs to run my life for a while.
