Does a person really become more "fond" of another person when he or she is absent? Or is it that by saying that to someone you will not see for some time, you are somehow justifying your absence or easing your own guilt? I do not buy into the idea that I will become more enamored with someone simply because he/she is not around. Pining is overrated.
I had my heart sprained in the last year. In this instance, absence made me forgettable and unnecessary. Obsolete. As time passes, I now am able to separate myself from this man, again, absence being the key to forgetting. I would like to be unforgettable in every way.
