Did you say your name was Newt?

Newt Gingrich needs a verbal monitor. Is it really accurate to say that President Obama is the best food stamp president? What does that even mean? Is he trying to intimate that all Blacks are on food stamps, so Obama is just offering to his kind? What kind would that be, Newt, human? And even so, is he hurting people by allowing aid to those who need it?

Second, the rules and regulations by which a family or individual can qualify for food stamps are quite specific and currently being reinforced by all government aid agencies. What would you have the President of the United States (and I would remind you of his position) do? Cut all funding to those with food stamps, AFDC, SSI?

I do not always agree with President Obama or his "plans," but I do recognize his title and position, and I respect him and offer my support. It is one thing to differ in opinion and another thing to cast aspersions on someone who warrants much more regard.

Wake up America! Same old Newt. Do we want him making the decisions in 2012 or any time?
