I have been trying to stay on top of current events even though the news coverage is redundant and mundane. It seems that during the school year I become quite pedantic. With that being said, why can't there be more coverage of actual news instead of the poor choices made by a politician? The errors are so frequent; they hardly surprise me anymore. So I went on a diatribe about other more worthy subjects which hardly received any attention at all. Then I read David Sirota's piece on Salon.com from June 9th and realized that I was not alone in my disgust.
Enjoy!
