Desperately seeking a real life!

I have been so busy lately but not stressed, and I guess because I am not stressed, I have come to realize that I have no one here in NC. Instead, I am attached to the computer grading, or helping Basic Skills students' in Second Life or running around as one of my 3, yes 3, toons on World of Warcraft. The only place I seem to have a normal, and I use that term very loosely, is in a virtual world.

I try to justify all of this added technology in my classes, and this week I wonder if I am taking my students away from reality. Not that they aren't already venturing into cyberspace without me, but should I be reinforcing it? Yikes!
