For those of you who follow me on Twitter, sorry, I had to let that go. Too much time with all my techie stuff. I am still maintaining my Facebook page though, for those of you who are my friends. If that is the case, then some of you know that I am finally in Hawaii and classes begin in one week. I am not ready yet. It has been a crazy month for sure. Ben came with me to get everything done like finding an apartment, navigating the lay of the land, eating some Hawaiian cuisine and so forth.
I love it here. The culture is so important to the native Hawaiians. AND now that we are officially the University of Hawaii Maui College, the enrollment is up and the overall atmosphere of the college seems charged as if electricity struck each person on campus. I love it! So be prepared for more posts. I will now be looking at Teaching in Maui and the rest of my life. The past is now in the past for good. Hello, tomorrow and the day after . . .
