My cousin Rose is a great woman. I wish I lived closer. Her ideals and concerns align with mine so closely that I feel she would understand me. I am marching for women's rights in Austin, April 28th and DC in September, and she is marching in NY soon. It seems to me that more women should want to continue the fight for equality. Yes, there have been strides in the need for balance between the sexes, but now it is about the decisions women are able to make about their own bodies, about fair pay, about knowing that their opinions and ideas will truly be considered. I call to every woman in every state to join the fight for real equality. I ask that you take the time to march in your state, travel to DC, to stand up in the work place and home to exact a change for a brighter tomorrow.
