"We don't have racism in America anymore." Really?!

What is wrong with the world today where racist slurs and a call for violence is accepted? Freedom of speech is one thing, but screaming for the assassination of the President is tantamount to treason. So people who voted Republican did not get what they wanted. Throwing a temper tantrum on Twitter is hardly the way to go about working towards change. To see all of those teens, recent graduates and the like Tweeting for harm to come to the President just angers me. Who do you think you are? Are you even speaking for yourself or are you parroting what you hear your parents say?

There's a Black man in the White House. There has been one as Commander and Chief for nearly four years. If you wanted to make a change then perhaps you should have rallied more support. I voted my conscious, which is no one's business but my own. Maybe you should make that your practice as well.

There will be women in the White House soon. What will be the uprising then? "Send her back to kitchen!" I am ashamed of the Human Race more and more. Ann Coulter stated "we don't have racism in America anymore" in July of 2012 and restated this claim in an interview with Bill Maher in October.  Really? Perhaps she should visit Twitter more often. I find Coulter to be an intelligent, articulate woman, but when she makes statements that lean closer to a fallacy than truth, I wonder how the general public disseminates her rants as well as all the information generated by the digital media. Someone sounds smart; they must be correct. Not always the case.
